Five weeks into my latest Weight Watchers Adventure, I have lost 9 1/2 pounds and have ceased to feel too crabby about the calorie reduction. I'm at that point in the program where I can actually discern *real* hunger from *stress* hunger, and I also feel fuller sooner. All good things, so I feel encouraged to keep trucking along!
More later.........
Sounds like you are making good progress and are recognizing the differences in types of hunger (just like learning what your babies different cries mean). My daughter, Amber, at Faithlovekidsandme@blogspot.com is also working on that and exercising too. It would do her good to hear from someone else who means business.
ReplyDeleteAfter medical illness and hospitalizations lately I've had the opposite problem and have been losing weight I shouldn't. Guess we all have our issues and wish we had someone elses at times.
keep it up and you'll make it to your goal.
Thanks for the awesome encouragement, Reva! You are so right about the grass always being greener in someone else's yard. A wise woman once told me that if we were, indeed, allowed to choose out burdens, we'd still end up with the burdens that we already have. Food for thought....
ReplyDeleteI'll check out Amber's blog!
Feel better really soon!
