DeleteI love the decorations :) We did a lot of Dollar Tree decorations too. I bought some ornaments from there, as well as used tons of candy canes to decorate the tree!

YEah, about those radiator covers. Did you buy them? Have them custom made? We have steam heat in our home and have yet to cover the radiators...
DeleteThey were original to the house (c.1925), and I really love them, thanks! Out of 5 original radiators, only 2 have these covers, though. We looked into buying new (custom), trying to salvage old covers, and making our own. Option 3 was the only financially feasible choice, and we tested it out when we installed a new baseboard radiator in our kitchen remodel. I will have to post a pic some time! But, yeah, the salvaged ones are nearly impossible to find, and then they're very pricey. And, custom made new covers are beyond expensive. I figure we lucked out getting the 2 we have!
